dc.description.abstractIndian Education system has experienced a number of innovations before and after newlineindependence. Our educational system has improved time to time according to social needs and newlinerequirements and become one among major manpower exporting countries of the world. All round newlinedevelopment of a child is the dynamic trend in the new educational system i.e., an integrated newlinedevelopment in physical, mental, moral and social aspects. The aims of the education are making newlinechildren capable of becoming responsible, productive and useful members of the nation as well as newlineits lasting value and broad human ideals. It is a very well known fact that the evaluation practices newlinecarried out in schools aim to measure the knowledge and understanding outcomes of learners, newlineneglecting the evaluation of skills and higher mental abilities. Hence, evaluation should be viewed newlineas a component of curriculum with the twin purpose of effective delivery and plays an important newlinerole in the teaching-learning process newline
