Abstract: newline Education is a powerful tool to enhance the human progress, which imparts newlineknowledge, skills, and character and modifies the behavior of an individual. As it is a newlinecontinuous process by which all the living can gain new behaviors according to the newlinesituations. Without proper education it is very difficult to survive in human society. newlineBecause, the world is dynamic and in this dynamic world the society has bound a barrier newlinewhere it gives values those who have a good educational status with excellence. Education newlineis something that can shape human life. It decided people that what to make and what not to newlinemake. It is like a sculptor which tries to give a proper shape for the proper purposes. It is a newlineprocess which gives focuses on preparation for future life and it is a gradual repetition of newlineexperiences and feelings. Education starts with life and ends with death. Human newlinedevelopment depends on mainly three aspects i.e.- Education, Health and Per Capita newlineIncome. Among these three aspects education is one of the most important parts of human newlineprogress. (Pullao, 2010) Without education we cannot analyze how we are progressing and newlinewhat is our present human status and what is the role as an individual. Proper health is also newlineone of the aspects of human progress; there can be measures proper health by- Life newlineexpectancy and health care. As education is a broad terms every aspects comes under the newlineeducation. Education also aimed at preparing the students to lead a happy and prosperous newlinelife. They were taught to become socially conscious, responsible, dutiful and morally strong newlinecitizen of the country. But the education system in Assam and the development of the Bodo newlinetribe in Assam has a great distance it its value and aims. The study has some major newlineobjectives on social and educational problems of Bodo tribe students studying in higher newlineeducation focusing on what are the social and educational factors that restrict in pursuing in newlinehigher education. The study also tries to find out some of the suggestive measures for the newlineimproveme
