The main objective of the research is to investigate these schemes like Orthogonal frequency division newlinemultiplexing- Interleave division multiple access (OFDM-IDMA), Optical Interleave division newlinemultiple access (OIDMA) and Single Carrier- Interleave division multiple access (SC-IDMA) and newlinefind the appropriate scheme for the optical domain. Furthermore also investigate among all these newlineschemes under various conditions. newlineHigh speed data connections with higher bandwidth are provided by telecommunication newlinenetworks with the help of optical communication throughout the world. It provides high data rate newlinetransmission, large bandwidth, high spectral efficiency, small attenuation, high reliability, faster newlinetransmission, high security, low signal loss, robustness, and long lasting communication system. newlineIDMA is also among a multiple access scheme where for discriminating the signals from various newlineusers as well as having modest cross-correlation amongst them, user specific inter-leavers are newlinedeployed. newlineIn order to above investigation following phenomenon has been carried out: - System and data newlinetransmission model for SC-IDMA, OIDMA, OFDMA and OFDM-IDMA have been examined and newlinetheir performances under the various constraints like Transceivers structure, complexity, computations newlineinvolved in decoding, decoding principle, PAPR and BER calculations and costing etc. have been newlineevaluated. User specific inter-leavers are used for discriminating the signal from various users for SCIDMA, newlineOIDMA and OFDM-IDMA. Appropriate mechanisms for performance measurement are used newlinefor analytical modelling and simulations purposes. VLC media is used as a channel model for newlinemodelling and simulations purpose. The performance of SC-IDMA, OIDMA, OFDMA and OFDMIDMA newlineschemes have been evaluated as a result of simulations under various conditions by varying newlineconstraints. Performance of Adaptive Multicarrier (OFDM)-IDMA systems in Multipath Fading newlineChannels has been evaluated as a result of simulation and a fair comparison has been done with the newlineconventional Multicarrier (OFDM)-I
