Abstract: Whenever we talk about analyzing and monitoring the real time vital body parameters, we newlinesearch for the accurate and reliable method to do it. As it directly deals with the vitality and newlinethe existence of the patient. The research gap in today s world is that, the traditional and newlinethe conventional methods (i.e. electrocardiography) available for the detection of cardiac newlinediseases such as arrhythmia are accurate but little time taking, and sometimes may not be newlinevery convenient. The present era medical demand is to introduce or invent a method, which newlinecan accurately detect the cardiac diseases in no time with high reliability and repeatability. newlineTo meet this research gap the author has used virtual instrumentation for this. In this study newlinethe cardiac signals, which are received at the monitoring end will be analyzed and newlinemonitored using the virtual instrumentation (Labview 8.5), biomedical toolkit, so that the newlinedoctor sitting on the receiving analyzer, has not to watch his or her screen all the time for newlinethe monitoring of the patients vital signals. This particular study is about designing a newlinesimple analyzer toolbox, in the biomedical toolkit of Labview 8.5 for the analysis and newlinemonitoring the live cardiac signals of a patient and tries to detect the Atrial Fibrillation and newlineAtrial Flutter (common type of arrhythmia) at the earliest. The best part of this research newlinework is that, it is a panacea for all those who are placed wide apart at rural or remote newlinelocations, and even the astronauts in space or space station, their checkups can also be newlinedone by this method. newlineAn arrhythmia is a type of cardiac disease in which our hearts may beat too early, too fast, newlinetoo slow or gives an irregular potential pattern, and few may turn to be fatal or can give an newlineirreparable loss. Among all types of arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation is the most common newlinetype, in which a heart can beat/race at more than 380 beats per minute. The problems of newlineatrial fibrillation may lead to haemodynamic instability, cardiomyopathy, strokes or even newlinecardiac shut down. newline
