Abstract: newline The operations of Indian Railways do not only cause air, water, noise pollution, but newlinealso add to more paper work used in the business processes and Human Resource newlineManagement Practices in Indian railways. Statistics suggests that there is 9 million tons newlineof paper wastage in India (Chakraborty, 2015). Every year, to make one ton of paper, 17 newlinetrees are cut which leads to a large amount of deforestation that goes for supplying 9 newlinemillion tons of paper. In spite of all efforts, only 27% of used paper gets recycled in India newlinewhich is less than other advanced countries of the world
