Prevalance Of Class II Malocclusion With Occlusal Incisal Wear In The Purvanchal Population

newlineIntroduction: The Study was divided into three parts, the 1st part of the study was to estimate the prevalence of malocclusion with occlusal/incisal wear in patient aged between 18years and beyond. The screening of the subject attending the outpatient department, Faculty of Dental Sciences, IMS, BHU was done. Samples were also collected from the dental practioners of Varanasi cities and adjoining areas. The objective of the study is to recognize the preventive measures and minimize the potent irregularities in the developing dentofacial complex. In the 2nd part of the study was to evaluate the statistical association if any of condylar angle with incisal wear in patients. The last part of the study was to evaluate the effect of myofunctional therapy on condylar angle in patients and to find the statistical correlation, if any, between condylar angles values pre and post treatment.
