Social Background Modernization and Patterns of Mass Media Exposure Among The Educated Muslim Women in Bhopal

Abstract

The present research is carried out to know the reality of the phenomenon of Social Background, Modernization and Patterns of Mass Media Exposure among Educated Muslim Women in Bhopal. The world would be inconsistent without the existence of women. Almighty has created women from rib of man not from the feet to be trampled on, not from the head to be superior but from the side part of the body to show that women stand equal to the man, further the position of rib under the arm stands that women should be protected and closer to heart indicates they should be loved (Shakespeare). Women have constituted an important and keystone character in the arch of any society down history. No doubt the Women has gone through several phases in the past and the history stands testimony that in the past women have been respected and enjoyed high status in society but at the same time, some phases of the women life have witnessed cruelty, vulnerability and most suppressed character of the society.
