Abstract: newline Nanostructures have got attention of the scientific community due to their unique newlinephysiochemical properties. Graphene (2D structure) and graphene quantum dots (GQDs) (0D newlinestructure), members of carbon family, have been intensively explored for commendable newlinetechnological applications due to their extraordinary mechanical, electronic and optical newlineproperties. Discovery of graphene, in year 2004, by Geim and co-workers at Manchester newlineUniversity gave a jolt to the scientific community by breaking the concept that two newlinedimensional crystals are thermodynamically unstable.
