Abstract: Access to financial services is considered equally important to access to basic sanitation newlinefacilities, primary education, clean drinking water etc. It enables people to enhance their newlinelivelihood generation activities which can initiate their exit from poverty traps. Financial inclusion has remained a cause of concern for developing countries around the world because its penetration, especially in developing countries, remains below satisfactory levels.
