Abstract: newline Azospirillum brasilense is one of the most widely studied species of the genus newlineAzospirillum, a plant growth promoting rhizobacterium. It is a Gram-negative, nonphotosynthetic newlinealpha-proteobacterium, which promotes plant growth mainly by the newlineproduction of phytohormones like gibberellins, auxin and cytokinins which induce newlineplant root hair formation and lead to better uptake of minerals and nutrients
