Title: A Retrospective Study of Injuries Prevalence in Competitive Volleyball Players

Abstract: The objectives of the study is to determine the injuries prevalence in Volleyball players and to compare the nature, sites, causes, period and the possible risk factors involved. Data was collected individually through a questionnaire from 300 Volleyball players of different Academy, Clubs, State and University separately, This explores and measures the injuries prevalence in three group Volleyball players. The groups are junior (Aged-14-19), young (Aged 20-25 ) and senior (aged 26-30) Volleyball players. The Mean value and standard deviation age of Volleyball players (Combine Sample) was 23.45 (6.34) years, Mean value and standard deviation weight was 71.09 (8.35) Kg., Mean value and standard deviation height was 174.31 (11.35) cm. The training Mean value and standard deviation of Volleyball players (Combined sample ) was 5.09 (1.07) days, their training duration Mean value and standard deviation Volleyball players The results found that , most of the Volleyball players ( Aged 14-19) felt Relax and Motivated before competition. The results found that , most of the Volleyball players ( Aged 20-25 ) felt Relax, Happy and Motivated before competition. The results found that , most of the Volleyball players ( Aged 26-30 ) felt Happy, Relax and Motivated respectively before competition . The results found that , most of the Volleyball players ( Aged 14-19) felt Happy, Relax and Motivated respectively before training or practice. The results found that , most of the Volleyball players ( Aged 20-25 ) felt Happy, Relax and Motivated respectively before training or practice. The results found that , most of the Volleyball players ( Aged 26-30 ) felt Happy, Relax and Motivated respectively before training or practice. Volleyball players ( Aged 14-19 ) reported injuries in the month of January (11.09%), February (05.88%), March (16.21%), April (08.10%), May (02.70%), June (02.70%), July (05.40 %), August (08.10%), September (05.40%), October (16.21%), November (08.10%) and December (10.81%). Maximum injuries were occurred
