dc.description.abstract | The present doctoral thesis work mainly focuses on the synthesis of series of new, practical, and newlineeconomic palladium-based heterogeneous nanocatalysts in quantitative yields. The structure of newlinethe synthesized nanocatalysts were analysed using ATR-IR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, ICP-OES, FE-SEM, newlineEDS, HR-TEM, p-XRD, TG-DTA, XPS, VSM, NMR, single crystal XRD and BET surface area newlineanalytical techniques. The catalytic potential of the newly developed nanocatalysts were studied newlinein various organic transformations such as Suzuki-Miyaura, Mizoroki-Heck, denitrogenative newlinecross-coupling reactions and also in catalytic reduction of toxic pollutants under environmentally newlinesustainable reaction conditions.
