Abstract: Noise is the most unavoidable environmental stressor. With the fastest newlineglobalization and industrialization people are exposed to various noise newlinesources in routine activities. It newlinedisturbs the body s homeostasis by producing excessive free radicals. The newlinefree radicals cause oxidative damage to the cells leading to newlineneurodegenerative disease, diabetes, and cancer. Various methods are used newlineto limit noise pollution and reduce the stress effect. It is not possible to follow newlinethe safety procedures in all times. Like meditation and yoga are the best newlinestress-relieving methods, but children and old age people who are exposed to newlinenoise pollution are difficult to practice meditation and yoga. In another way, newlineantidepressant drugs are used to reduce the stress, but long term use of the newlinedrugs itself leads to many health effects. Traditionally antioxidant rich plants newlineand plant derived products were used as an anti stressor. Indeed, cranberry is newlinewell- known fruit of North America and available all over the world.
