Abstract: | Cloud computing has evolved from large scale distributed computing and it allows on demand network access to shared computing resources as well as a model for managing, storing and processing data online via internet. The computing and data of desktop and portable PCs are moved away, into large data centers. It has the capability to harness the power of Internet and Wide Area Network (WAN) to use resources that are available remotely, thereby providing cost effective solution to most of the real life requirements. Cloud offers infrastructure for applications and services on demand through internet, on pay-per-use basis to adjust the capacity quickly and easily. The capital costs of software and hardware is minimized by cloud computing and it helps to accommodate changes on demand thereby reducing the budget of organizations involving IT projects. Computing resources like networks, servers, storage, applications and services are accessed on demand in a shared way by using cloud computing concept. Resources availability is an important issue in cloud computing and it is achieved by provisioning and de provisioning of these resources quickly with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. High demands of the industrial usage of cloud computing leads to a rapid expansion in data centers. newline |
