Abstract

Inclusive education is the provision of services to children with special needs in the neighborhood schools with necessary support services and supplementary aids. It is the practice of including everyone irrespective of talent, disability, socio-economic background or cultural origin-in supportive mainstream school and classroom where the needs of all students are met. The present study Right to Inclusive Education: A Study of Differently Abled Children in District Hoshiarpur (Punjab) was conducted to analyze the laws and policies available for persons with disabilities in India and its implication; the accessibility of available infrastructural facilities; the provision of HomeBased Education for ensuring their inclusion and issues of stigma and discrimination faced by CWSNs in the sampled district of Hoshiarpur. newline
