Synthesis characterization and biological evaluation of novel synthetic peptide based potential radioprotective and tumor imaging agents

Abstract

In the present work, we have meticulously designed two molecules based on GSH whereby we have targeted ligand for two approaches (radioproprotection and radiodiagnostics). Moreover repurposing of drug is a strategy where multiple applications of a drug can be exploited. Here we have utilized GSH based system for its application in protection against oxidative stress as well as potential tumor diagnostic agent.
