Abstract

Diabetes is recognized as a key challenge in health of human beings over years in both developing and in developed countries. The prevalence of diabetes is increasing due to urbanization, modern lifestyles and economic development. This is regarded as a global problem that affects the social and economic factors of an individual. Among the two diabetic forms, Type 2 diabetes is considered to be a chronic ailment that occurs due to insufficient secretion of insulin in pancreas or if the human body fails to utilise the secreted insulin which is considered to be asymptomatic. The detection gets improve although there may be delay of more than ten years from onset of disease. A physician needs to analyze the suitable factors in order to diagnose diabetes. The expert decisions are certainly critical during diabetic diagnosis in assessing the data collected from patients. The unrelated factors like fatigue or poor expert decision can lead to an incorrect diagnosis. newline
