Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are conventional wireless ad hoc network which can collect, integrate and transmit data autonomously. The energy aware Lower Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (E-LEACH) improves the selection of Cluster Head (CH)of the LEACH. Since optimal CH selection decreases consumption of energy by partitioning of network efficiently. By utilizing evolutionary protocols for the selection of optimized CHs, the position information and residual energy are considered in WSNs. Optimal selection of CH is a Non-deterministic Polynomial (NP) hard issue, to address this problem, a general approximation algorithm which runs in polynomial time should be used. The objective of the research is to improve the network lifetime and energy efficiency of the network by optimal selection of CHs in each cluster. In order to meet the goal, novel approaches are used which is based on routing based effective CH selection in WSN to improve the energy efficiency in WSN by increasing the number of cluster formation, decreasing average end to end delay, decreasing average packet loss rate thereby leading to the increase of network lifetime. newline
