Abstract

Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) of cancers has gained importance in the field of medicine in recent years. The CAD systems help the doctor to determine the type and stages of cancer in short period with greater accuracy. The CAD systems are capable of diagnosing cancer captured through various imaging devices such as X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) etc. CAD systems designed with Image Processing Techniques, Machine Learning Techniques and Soft Computing Techniques are more efficient and provide accurate results in disease diagnosis.
