Identification of Transcription Factor Binding Site (TFBS) in a Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) sequence is a challenging task in building the motif model since, proteins can bind to DNA with different binding intensities. Protein Binding Microarray (PBM) technology is developed to measure the binding preference of a protein on a large scale to a complete set of k-mers in vitro. Hence, many researchers have applied this PBM technique onto many Transcription Factors (TFs), and as a result, a large amount of PBM data has been accumulated and deposited into the Uniprobe database. The PBM is a robust methodology that provides a sensitive and flexible platform to examine TF DNA binding specificity and allows us to determine the DNA binding specificity of proteins in an easy way. newline
