Abstract: | In today s digital era, high speed data rate is necessary for all the internet applications like VOIP, Multimedia Application, Video Conferencing, Remote Monitoring and Telemetry Application etc and this will continue in future too. MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) is one of the technologies that provides data rate in the order Gbps, as demanded by various Multimedia Applications for the 5th Generation Cellular Wireless Communication. MIMO detector/decoder, the heart of the MIMO receiver, uses the Multiple Transmit and Receive antennas to increase the output data rate using Spatial Multiplexing Techniques, which allow multiple data streams transmitted simultaneously through the same bandwidth and without increasing the total transmitting power. The proposed work is MIMO detector using the MMSE method that is suitable for 5G wireless communication networks. When analyzed, the equation of MMSE shows Complex Matrix Multiplier (CMM), playing an newlineimportant role that is more number of CMM required to implement the newlineMMSE method. The CMM utilizes higher number of complex multipliers newlinewhich consumes more area and power in VLSI. The focus on reducing the newlinemultipliers in Traditional Complex Multiplier and simultaneously increasing newlinethe data rate further by pipeline and parallel processing newline newline |
