dc.description.abstractPiezoelectric materials play an immense role in actuators and transducers which convert one type of energy into another type of energy due to their electronic versatility. Piezoelectric materials due to its multifuntionality have gained lot of interest for both research field as well as industrial applications. Specific piezoelectric properties are required for individual application. A variety of piezoelectric materials have been widely researched for High Temperature (HT) piezoelectric applications, including gallium orthophosphate, lithium niobate, quartz and lithium tantalate. Each one of the above materials has its own merits and demerits to be used in high temperature piezoelectric applications. newline
