Abstract: Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is the major contributor in providing data to build smart cities and infrastructure. Tiny sensors together with embedded processor, power unit and transceivers communicate with each other to satisfy the single objective of providing useful information to the user. These tiny modules have resource constraints in nature and need an efficient algorithm to manage the resource and extend the network lifetime.
