Abstract: The study objective is to develop a navigation system for the blind. We have taken a multi-faceted strategy in order to accomplish this. First, we examined and created a scheme to address the requirements of the visually impaired society. Then we merged a worldwide positioning scheme, INU, computer vision algorithms and audio and haptic interfaces into one scheme using latest technologies. The SPM and INU cooperate to provide guidance from building to building in the identification and location of objects such as signs and landmarks, both inside and outside. The voice interface connects GPS, INU and computer vision algorithms to an interactive audio navigation device. The haptic interface offers an alternative intuitive steering scheme. The resulting scheme guides users to specific structures and major items, such as cell phones, wallets, and even toilet signs or exit signs. newlineAssistive devices are a crucial element in biomedical systems because they are potential aids that could the quality of life of people with physical and sensory impairments has increased. It is aimed at reviewing the most important job being undertaken in this field and presenting the recent solutions to helping this population and understanding universal concepts for designing wearable aid systems and services for the blind. newlineThis research focuses on providing the helping aid for the visually impaired person with an object detection and navigation system. A possible database is created with the objects labels which when identified will dictate the label information for the visually challenged person to understand. newline newline
