Abstract: The word communicationand#8223; has been a central issue in all human activities and civilization from the inception of human race or since the time immemorial. The science of communication is almost as old as the evolution of man and his gradual prosperity as a complete being. Communication is inseparable and essential form of imparting and exchanging information by way of speaking and writing in the familial, social and professional life in day to day circumstances. The English word communicationand#8223; is derived from the Latin term communisand#8223; or communicareand#8223; which means to make common, to transmit or to impartand#8223;. newlineBaird E John states, Communication is the process involving the transmission and reception of symbols eliciting meaning in the minds of the participants by making common their life experiences. Besides, the American Management Association defines that, Communication is any behavior that results in an exchange of meaning. In addition, Keith Davis elaborates and clears that, Communication is the transfer of information and understanding from one person to another person. It is the way of reaching others with facts, ideas, thoughts and values. It is either verbal or non-verbal. newlineHowever, style is a different concept. Style means a specific way of communicating and receiving the message. Style is identical and personal way of speaking and interpreting the messages. It is also a specific way of expressing the response or giving the feedback. Here the two concepts, Communicationand#8223; and Styleand#8223; are brought together to make one wide-raging concept as Communication Style.and#8223; In his book The Magic of Communication Styles Paul Endress defines Communication Style is a personand#8223;s regular or familiar communication pattern and the strategies he/she uses to communicate across a broad variety of situations. In other words, itand#8223;s how we relate to others. newlineNovel is a long narrative in prose using language as means of communication. While communicating, characters in the novel, as in real life, adopt different communication style
