Abstract: | MIMO-OFDM (Multiple Input Multiple Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) has become the most competitive technology in high performance fourth-generation (4G) broadband wireless communications. The major disadvantage of the parallel OFDM (i.e., MIMO-OFDM) is higher PAPR value. The radio frequency power amplifier of the system must have a wide linear range to avoid transmission signal spectrum spreading and non-linear distortion resulting in higher cost and higher power, as well as greater difficulty of realization. The higher PAPR value in the MIMO-OFDM system results in non-linear distortion which is highly undesirable. Consequently, the Partial Transmit Sequence (PTS) scheme can be employed to reduce the PAPR outcome of the MIMOOFDM systems. In this research, the Complementary CDF (CCDF) function is extended to validate the half transmitted sequence and where the performance measures values of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing are measured in terms of Peak to Average Power Ratio of a data block exceeds a given threshold. It has been aimed to study and analyze the performance of MIMO OFDM technique for minimizing Peak to Average Power Ratio through Partial Transmit Sequence .The reducing of PAPR is determined by the complementary cumulative distribution function of peak to average power ration in OFDM environment.Initially in this research, independent data signal necessitates theoperation of phase rotation for reducing the PAPR value in FBMC-based OQAM. But, the overlapping structure of FBMC-based OQAM reduces the optimal performance of PTS. IPTS-OS-LR presented in this research is an attempt to integrate the merits of PTS and OS-TR for effective reduction of newline |
