Abstract: This applied research examines, the Decision Support System Framework for Cyclone Disaster Mitigation on Cloud Environment , which will give the information/data to the decision makersa t the time of cyclone disaster mitigation and management towards before/during/after the occurrence of cyclones in Indian coastal village houses. This applied research has been carried out under the RandD project of Cyclone Disaster Mitigation in the Wind Engineering Lab of CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre, Chennai. The cloud based Decision Support System(DSS) framework, uses Web as a portal to the underlying DSS. It lets interested/authorised users access and make use of the underlying DSS through the Web. Sample static and dynamic web pages have been developed as front-ends for the DSS. All the models are embedded/integrated into the framework of the DSS. This DSS framework has been proposed, developed, deployed and tested with sample data, which is capable of(1) Acquiring the real-time dataset from the Indian coastal village housing construction details, by using the existing four types of survey questionnaire forms IS: 15499 (2004)ofCSIR-SERC, Chennai, India (2) Acquiring existing datasets from different experts and organizations through web (3) Mining data by using the cluster analysis algorithm for grouping the Indian coastal village housing types (Non-Engineering, Semi- newlineEngineering, Engineering) and (4) Mining data by using the Association analysis algorithm to identify the similar construction methods and materials of Indian coastal village housing with similar level of damages. In future, the huge databases from corresponding modules willgetstoredon-premises private cloud setup and also these modules are to be connected to the private and public cloud resources with a hybrid cloud environment . newline newline
