The purpose of this study is to discover and design diagnostic kit with increased newlinesensitivity and specificity for diagnosis of Leptospirosis. Another aim of the study newlinewas to evaluate the protective efficacy of protein or epitope. newlineThe diagnostic kit developed in this study would reduce the cost of diagnosis as most newlineof the kits being used are imported and also a vaccine candidate can be developed newlinetargeting the prevalent serovars in India. newlineThis research work is originally stemmed from the passion of developing better newlinediagnostic tests for diagnosis of Leptospirosis. As India is ranked among the list of newlinedeveloping countries including economy, space research and many others, its newlinehealthcare should also grow at the same pace. This kind of indigenous kit would newlinereduce the cost of healthcare facilities and make it more affordable. newlineLeptospirosis may one day be name in eradicated diseases by developing an efficient newlinevaccine candidate, as protection is the best way to beat infections. newline
