dc.description.abstractTourism being the most upcoming and expending industry around the newlineworld needs effective measures and integrated promotional efforts to conserve newlineresources and inventories for the future generations. The present study is centralized newlineon developing strategies for the sustainable development of Har ki Dun Valley as a newlineCommunity Based Tourism destination.. Researcher has made sincere efforts in newlineidentifying the tourism potential of the area. Further the present scenario of tourism newlinewas analyzed. The focus of the study was to understand the perception and attitude of newlinethe host population towards tourism. An effort was to develop greater awareness and newlineunderstanding of the significant contributions that tourism can make to environment newlineand economy. An attempt has also been made to review present government policies newlinebesides suggesting various strategies for sustainable development of the study area. newlineThis study has also given recommendations to promote Community Based Tourism in newlinea sustainable manner.The first chapter will be devoted to Introduction and describes the community based tourism and the need of carrying capacity assessment with basic aims and newlineobjectives. The second chapter will cover available literature search on the subject. newlinePresent and past studies here in this chapter are of significant importance to analyze newlineand interpret data related to a variety of community based tourism attributes. The third newlinechapter will deal with research methodology. It discusses the research design, newlinehypothesis and the data collection methods. The fourth chapter will relate to data newlineanalysis and results. The entire chapter is devoted to the interpretation of data newlinecollected for the study. The fifth chapter will cover findings of the study. The sixth newlinechapter would discuss in detail the important conclusions drawn by testing hypothesis newlineand gives suggestions for further study. newline newline
