Psychological well being among adolescents in punjab in relation to emotional intelligence self Efficacy and stress

Abstract

ABSTRACT newline newlineThe present study is undertaken to investigate the relationship between psychological well-being and self-efficacy among adolescents. The study was conducted on 200 adolescents (100 male and 100 female as well as 100 studying in rural schools and 100 studying in urban schools) studying in 11th and 12th class of senior secondary schools from Hoshiarpur district of Punjab. The Self-efficacy Scale by Arun Kumar Singh and ShrutiNarain (2014) and Psychological Well-being developed by the investigators were used to collect the data. The results indicates that a significant positive relationship between psychological well-being and self-efficacy among adolescents irrespective of their gender and locale. newline newlineKey words: Psychological well-being, Self-efficacy, Adolescents. newline newline newline
