Reliable operation of the power system is ensured by how well the newlineelectric equipment and electronic systems are operating. This reliability can newlinebe achieved by the sustainability of the equipment during contingencies like newlinefaults and unequal loading. Transformers are the vital element in the power newlinesystem which is much exposed to faults but supposed to withstand and quench newlinethe consequences during a fault. There are several abnormalities during a fault newlinewith high magnitude fault current and voltages along with the chance of fire newlineaccidents due to the unexpected rise in operating temperature. Along with all newlinethese requirements of transformers to withstand fault stress, it has to newlinewithstand the increasing demand of power consumption due to urbanization, newlinetechnological expansion, and electrification of transport systems like EVs and newlinewide-scale industrialization. The superior dielectric insulation system is a major factor to meet power supply demand with reliability. The driving factor of a good quality newlinetransformer is its superior insulation system to withstand abnormalities of newlinefaults. A billion liters of liquid insulation is being used globally in various newlineelectrical equipment. Conditional assessment and monitoring of liquid newlineinsulation is the decisive factor which gives essential information regarding newlinethe condition of equipment and its life span. By testing the physicochemical newlineand electrical properties, the incipient electrical and mechanical failures that newlineare supposed to occur in the electric equipment and power system can be newlinedetermined newline newline
