Abstract: | Nowadays, with the fast advancement of power electronics innovation, the control of electric drives has become amicable in the motion Industry. Induction motors were the most utilized Machine but the control of the machine is quite complex due to its nonlinear characteristics. Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is becoming increasingly well-known because of its higher energy productivity, higher torque to weight proportion and the recent improvement in permanent magnet innovation. The higher effectiveness and high torque thickness make PMSM as a decent contender of Induction Motor Drive.Direct Torque Control (DTC) is broadly utilized as a part of permanent magnet synchronous motor control with its fundamental control mode, quick torque reaction, stable perturbation of fundamental parameters perturbation and external disturbance. Though the conventional direct torque control has numerous remarkable focal points, it is to the detriment of large torque and flux swells, which cause noise, vibrations, and expanded misfortunes.The main objective of this research is to minimize the large torque ripples and the flux swells in the Direct Torque Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine. The advent of Soft computing techniques minimizes the ripples and reduces the complexity in design aspects. The FUZZY and ANFIS controller for the Direct Torque control of PMSM was modeled using MATLAB/Simulink and the Torque and flux ripples were very much reduced compared to the conventional methods. newline |
