Abstract: | The rapid evolution in miniaturization, electronics and wireless communication technologies have contributed to unprecedented advances in our society. This has resulted in an increase in the number of suitable electronic devices for many areas, a reduction in their production costs and a paradigm shift from the real world into the digital world. Therefore, the way in which we interact with each other and with the environment has changed, using current technology to gain a better understanding of the world. In today s technology advancements and scientific establishments, many advanced techniques are getting emerged at regular intervals of time for making a well-sophisticated environment for people to live. Developments in the field of energy, communication, embedded systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) made a tremendous contribution in transforming any kind of system in to a smart system. These technological advancements help in making more confined, robust, autonomous and indigenous systems which can work at any worst conditions without any deviations from their assigned task in real-time. This is an era of digitalization where the systems and standards we live up with, works continuously 24×7 and make our life a better comfort zone. One such field of application is embedded system integrated with energy grids and power systems. From domestic appliances to larger distribution stations, all the equipment involved in this transition are completely upgraded and digitalized. Thus, by making the whole system more advanced and safer for domestic consumers. Advancements in the areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and automation highly helps in conserving energy with less possibility or without getting wasted at any energy systems. Optimization and energy conservation in any industrial and domestic housing environment is now possible with these robust technologies like IoT, WSN or Artificial Intelligence (AI). newline |
