ABSTRACT newline newlineThe thesis entitled Spirituality in the poetry of William Wordsworth and Rabindranath Tagore : A Comparative Study examines the spiritual aspect of the both the poets. It examines the comparison as well as difference of perspective of both the poets. William Wordsworth a well known poet; who is famous for romanticism, beautifully knitted the emotions of spirituality. Wordsworth is highly appreciable in literary world for his sensitivity, travel writings. He has been prominent poet among English poets. He expressed each aspect of his life beautifully; the best example is Prelude. newlineIn other hands the great saint, poet of India Rabindranath Tagore newlineis a Minerva of poetry. He marked his writings in the top most writers of the world. He expressed spirituality very deep and in very easy language so it may touch the heart of everyone. newlineThus both the poets have their own journeys but to experience that one supreme power. The expression, the words, the presentation is differ but they are so connected with the Ultimate Power.
