Abstract: | This thesis is concerned with the deteriorating inventory models and it focused on aiming area at the newlineRepublic of Yemen. The data that has been collected of the study area consists of the two types of newlinedeteriorating items: first, the deteriorating item which has only the deterioration character, and the newlinesecond one the item has two characters as deterioration and break-ability rates simultaneously. There are newlinemany inventory models both first and second especially when the inventory level is not equal to zero newlinebefore any replenishment. The important thing in the proposed models for inventory was developed in newlinea generalized way for any deteriorating inventory it satisfies the assumptions and conditions. The newlinedeveloped inventory models are fitted for the inventory level for the deteriorating items as fruits (an newlineorange, banana, apple, tomato). Similarly, the items have deteriorating and breakable characteristics such newlineas eggs, watermelon, or any productions that are being packed in the glass. The optimal total cost, EOQ, newlineand optimal time-run obtained in the assumed models considered and the shortage cost is also considered newlinewith two possibilities: if it is allowed or not allowed. In this study, the leading time is also focused on newlinewhen it is zero or non-zero. The inventory system with a general idea is developed and tries to apply it newlineto the data collected from the study area. newlineThe estimation of the inventory level of the daily demand performed by many software viz. SPSS, newlineMINITAB. The allocation data might be considered as sensitivity analysis for the proposed models, as newlinethe applications of real life. The calculation of the dependent variables as the total cost function, the newlineoptimal quantity, and optimal time of run-time had by Microsoft Excel. The investigations in this study newlinewere achieved through the development of the theoretical part in the inventory control system with newlinerealistic assumption and their applications on real-life data. The proposed models made the study add newlinecontributions to the international marketing environme |
