In the present age of industrialization, heat exchangers play a vital role in the energy consumption. They are widely used in the mechanical and chemical industries. In order to minimize the energy consumption and to promote thermal conductivity, industries realize the need for using nanofluids and nanoparticles instead of conventional fluids in heat exchangers. newline newlineMany researchers insist on the application of nanofluids for improving heat transfer characteristics of heat exchangers. The current research focuses mainly on heat exchanger characteristics of laminar flow inside the circular tube. The heat exchanger with plain twisted tapes and helical coil inserts are used to promote the heat transfer. newline newlineIn the place of water based liquids, nanofluids with PTT and helical coil inserts are strongly recommended for accelerating the heat transfer process. The Al2O3 with PTT provides better heat transfer performance under laminar conditions in the areas of fluid motion. It is stressed in this dissertation that nanofluids accelerate thermal conductivity better than the conventional fluids. newline newline
