Abstract: In Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks (IWSN), the accomplishment of a reliable transmission of data takes a significant role. This helps to overcome the practical issues in monitoring the industrial equipment deployed in real time applications. In a network environment which is assisted by the Zigbee standard, the parameters sensed from each machine are transferred to the controlling device through a multi-hop fashion. By taking concern over the information transmission, the deployment of Personal Area Network (PAN) coordinator scores a significant impact in the realization of a complete proficient IWSN. The responsibility of stipulating PAN takes channels for the transmission of sensed information from the transmitting device to the controlling authority. The exhaustion of channel for transmission is mitigated by the proficient channel allocation. The acquirement of a poor channel for transmitting the sensed information will result in channel congestion, leading to unreliable service. The traffic accustomed out of sensing some kinds of serious criterion should be transmitted with an utmost preference amidst of regular traffic. At this stage, the latency for transmitting other data packets surges significantly and therefore, the consumption of energy also increases. Several techniques prevailing in current trends such as IEEE 802.15.4 and data gathering approach that involves in relaying sensed information though a multi-fold relaying scheme does not provide an enough channel slot without any congestion and utilizing those freed up channels for other highly prioritized sensing devices for transmitting the data. So as to get free from these problems, the initial phase of this work presents a priority based channel scheduling and route discovery for ISWNapplication. The process of route discovery is accomplished based on the pre-defined slots and hence, the concept of energy conservation gets satisfied. Similarly, the effectiveness in transmitting information with an extreme urgency traverses the network deprived
