Abstract: Cloud computing is one of the platforms for providing distributed computing resources. Resource Management is a practice of provisioning and managing the cloud resources optimally. Advancement in technology such as Fog computing is an extended and distributed infrastructure where the application processes are managed between the end devices and the edge of the network for better and reliable services. These remote services include remote data storage which allows the client to store data remotely. Remote storage service is an optimal feature provided by the cloud vendors. However, the data storage in cloud is separated regionally and stored in different data centers which in turn arises a huge security issue in terms of privacy. The integrity of data stored in multiple data centers is one among privacy issues. To overcome the privacy and integrity issues many cloud service providers use Third Party Auditor (TPA) to verify the client data. Now most of the trusted TPAs are single verifier and fail to scale the integrity of data in different data center. The multiple verifiers among TPAs are pruned to Man in The Cloud (MiTC) attacks and not efficient enough to verify and validate the integrity of data in different data centers. For the above stated problem, to check and overcome the issues a novel Peer to Peer (P2P) authentication protocol with Certificate Authority (CA) is proposed. The efficacy of the proposed protocol is incorporating Certificate Authority along with TPAs.The proposed protocol is tested single user with single storage server and multiple storage servers in ownCloud with 1backup server, 2 storage server, 3 clients and 2 TPAs. NoSQL server is configured in own Cloud in such a way to store data in the storage servers. Amanda backup server is used to backup the mirror copy of data from the storage servers. A data in cloud storage can be validated using Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols and Applications (AVISPA) tool. From the results it is clearly shown that the proposed protocol is robust enough to ensure the integrity of data stored in multiple data centers. newline
