dc.description.abstractAmong the many factors that affect plants from seed germination to production, newlinemoisture and temperature are the major once. Moisture and temperature affect all the newlinephysiology of plants. They affect seed germination, photosynthesis and respiration. In newlineaddition soil moisture and temperature drastically affects the ecosystem in general. There newlineare various methods and equipment to detect and control them in agriculture. Heat pulse newlinemethod is one of them which is the most candidate in terms of cost and accuracy. Small newlinearea coverage, accurate measurement of change in temperature, direct volumetric soil newlinemoisture content measurement, complex fabrication and operating process, power newlineconsumption, and types of constituent elements are some of the limitations of the existing newlineheat pulse method soil moisture meter. The accurate, precise and low-cost thermometer is newlinealso another problem of monitoring soil temperature content in real-time. newline
