dc.description.abstractnewline Conclusion newlineThe purpose of the thesis was to provide a deeper understanding about cause-related marketing (CrM) within Indian context. In order to explore the real purpose of study, an emphasis was laid on the perspectives of business and non-profit organisation. While answering our research questions we began to explain the empirical generalisations that were made by the top managers and executives of both the business and non-profit organisations. newlineIndia is a fast emerging economy which is flourished with both national and international organisations. Simultaneously, India is also facing many social challenges like poverty, population growth, women empowerment, environmental degradation, skill development, child labour, illiteracy etc. Therefore it is the legal and social responsibility of every organisation to follow corporate social responsibility (CSR) or cause-related marketing (CrM) in the right perspective in order to facilitate and create an environment beneficial for both society and business. newline
