Abstract: newline newlineThe development attained on research of the different Acheulian assemblages of India is making the study of the Acheulean Culture a stimulating and imperative arena in the Indian Palaeolithic. However, compared with other well-known regions, e.g. Peninsular India and Central India, the work in the State of Haryana is still at the beginning phase. Furthermore, the Indian Acheulian and its relation with European and African Acheulian is still a significant issue that needs to be understood in light of the recent researches in India and elsewhere. This thesis is an attempt towards this direction. Through a detailed study, I have now achieved significant understanding of the Acheulean in India in general and Haryana in Particular. newline
