Abstract: Cloud computing has become quintessential in recent years and the safety problems associated in cloud model are also growing in equivalent proportion. Cloud computing has significantly changed the industry s perception of infrastructure, service delivery and development models. The business use of cloud-based services is expanding from basic data storage to online banking to data analytics and or predictive models. The enhanced requirement of enterprises leads to the evolution of combinatorial approach of cloud model called and#8215;Hybrid Cloud which is mix up of public and private cloud. This transition towards cloud architecture has triggered the concerns on a critical issue such as data confidentiality, access control, network security, malicious attacks, DoS attacks and challenges like encryption time and computational burden associated with effective implementation of security model while handling the data in cloud architecture. The other important aspects to be analysed about cloud security are communication from the internet to the cloud, communication between applications within the cloud and finally communication between two different clouds. As a result, the main objective of this research work is of analysing the existing security mechanisms across cloud ecosystem covering basic cloud storage architecture to an enhanced service like web application services, hybrid architecture, etc. and to provide an impression on the security system to achieve the desired benefits. The research work also discusses the novel and or proposed method in each architecture; personal auditing supported on the OTP generation and cryptographic algorithm for basic cloud data storage; Elliptical Curve Cryptography to provide security into Web Application based cloud services and new machine learning application for providing security to the hybrid cloud networks while storing the data and retrieving or accessing the data from the cloud. The proposed security frameworks have been implemented and also compared the effectiveness of the system with the existing models in terms of encryption and computational burden along with the security level while storing, retrieving and accessing the data in cloud environment newline
