Litterateurs like M.H. Abrams, E.D Hirsh Jr., Vincent B. Lietch and others have severely criticized this kind of thorough subjective approach towards literature. They closely critique thinkers like Miller to substantiate that there is still an element of subjectivity and certainty in literary analysis. The following chapter would closely analyse some of the major texts of Miller to understand his relativist approach more clearly.
