Abstract: Background newline newlineThe clinical biomarker which reflects normo, abnormal and pathophysiological state of ovarian function from menarche to menopause is anti Müllerian hormone (AMH). One such condition is ovarian dysfunction like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and infertility. One of the major causes of infertility in females is PCOS. Besides PCOS, women are also at high risk of various diseases such as metabolic syndrome, dyslipidemia, diabetes, depression, cardiovascular diseases, and sleep apnea. Therefore, evaluation of novel biomarkers is key to counteract these huge newlineimpediments. newline newlineAim: newlineTherefore, this statistical research focuses on scrutinizing the potential of AMH when used as a PCOS biomarker, to discover its determinants and to assess its correlation with age, AFC, number of oocytes matured, number of retrieved oocytes, and number of embryos and live birth in assisted reproduction technique. Also, it aims at analyzing the predicted age at menopause among Eumenorrheic and PCOS groups. newline newlineMethods: newlineThe material and method include 3 phases. Phase 1 consists of two groups. First group consists of young adolescent women with subgroup as eumenorrheic women and oligomenorrheic women. The second group consists of middle aged women with subgroup as eumenorrheic and PCOS. For all general profile with menstrual history were taken and AMH and FSH were measured. Phase 2 consists of retrospective data obtained from the Prashant fertility IVF center. The study parameters include patients undergoing IVF treatment and efficacy of AMH and AFC were compared and analyzed by statistical approach like AUCROC. Phase 3 also includes retrospective data obtained from Prashanth infertility and age at menopause was predicted using mathematical model like least square approximation. newline newlineResults: newlineAFC was observed to be a better analyst for oocyte retrieval when compared to AMH. AMH is not good discriminator for oligo menorrhea in young people and good discriminator for PCOS in middle aged women. Women with normal or regular cycle attains menopause earlier when compared with those of PCOS women. newline newline
