Abstract: In this thesis, our study is focused on the stabilization and tracking control problem for various kind of large-scale dynamical systems. Mainly intended on the design of a robust controller to guarantee the stabilization of the considered large-scale systems via input and output-feedback approach. Besides, time-delay, actuator fault, sensor failures, input saturation, uncertainty, nonlinearity, and disturbances are taken into account for the considered systems. Most applicable approaches such as decentralized and distributed control techniques are implemented for obtaining the required results. In particular, finite-time boundedness and finite-time stability are investigated with the use of decentralized and distributed fault-tolerant controller method. The objective is to design state-feedback and output-feedback controller consisting of a time-varying delay for continuous and discrete-time large-scale system even in the presence of some admissible uncertainties and possible actuator faults. The state feedback and output-feedback quantized control for large-scale interconnected is designed by utilizing decentralized and distributed control strategies. Moreover, to limit the consumption of energy by the sensors in the large-scale systems, the measurement size reduction technique and communication rate reduction approach are implemented. Also, decentralized sampled-data and H. memory feedback controller have been designed for large-scale systems. Precisely, the inevitable factors such as missing measurements, randomly occurring uncertainties, impulsive effects, and time-varying delays are taken into consideration in the addressed system. The decentralized modified repetitive tracking control scheme for fractional-order large-scale Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy system with time delays is proposed newline
