Abstract: The sustainable evolution and environmental consciousness are essential grandeur to the adequacy of Societies. Due to this regard, there is a necessity to synthesize materials to resolve future environmental troubles. This thesis reports on the investigation dealing with the physical, mechanical, and wears characterization of hybrid Bauhinia vahlii epoxy composites. The first stage of this research includes the fabrication of epoxy composites with different mono and hybrid combination of natural fibers; Bauhinia vahlii sisal, Bauhinia vahlii sisal rice husk, Grewia optiva Bauhinia vahlii, and Nettle-Bauhinia vahlii. The details of the tests procedure and the test results concerning the physical and mechanical characteristics are discussed in the second stage. The wear response of polymer composites is a complex surface damage process, strongly affected by material properties and operational conditions. Due to this reason, in the final stage, the sliding wear property of epoxy composites with different mono and hybrid fiber is investigated. The optimization of wear parameters for fabricated composites is done by using the Taguchi method. L16 and L27 orthogonal arrays are generated by using MINITAB software with 18 versions. The significance of each factor and interaction between control factors is evaluated using ANOVA Furthermore, the prevalent wear mechanism is understood by examining the worn surface morphology of the composites by scanning electron microscope analysis. Deterioration of fiber and matrix, micro cutting, micro cracks, and micro ploughing are identified as the significant accountable source for different wear behavior of fabricated composites. The experimental results demonstrate successful enhancements in mechanical and wear properties of composites by the incorporation of Bauhinia vahlii fiber and hybrid Bauhinia vahlii composites attaining better results as compared to the mono fiber reinforced composites. newline
