Abstract: Development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the recent decade is a foundation of the successful enactment of today s digital world. Its interventions are upholding every possible aspect of human life to the next level, both positively and negatively. The accessibility, usability, convenience, portability, fast-driven information, and provision of alternatives are some of the most related advantages of ICT. It also helps the people to do the routine activities of their family, social and professional lives without any complications. Many times, Information and Communication Technologies are mainly used for the purpose of communicating/interacting information to one or more than one people, and the mass audience electronically. Hence, Entertainment being another major purpose for the possession and use of ICT devices, it has remained as a dominant one in the lives of people. Since its inception, ICT is playing a vital role in the people s life based on various factors such as attitude, behavior, education, leisure time activities, communication pattern, work-family life balance and other family activities. According to various technology theorists, any new development in technologies has a chance of influencing society, societal groups and it s functioning in all phases. Likewise, the ICT influence in family life too is an important aspect to study at frequent intervals. In a developing country like India, the initiatives towards providing digital access to the common people are fast-growing in recent times and that acquisition moving in the direction of the digital home in most urban cities. In India, the family system is a dominant institution plays a major role in individual life. It emphasizes family integrity, loyalty, and unity in all phases of life.
