Abstract: Image processing is in the progressive stage now days. It gives more option based on processing environment for the multiple users. The image fusion scalability property provides better information with the process of integration from a few similar ones or it may be from different images at the same time. newlineThe objective of the research is discussed. newline1.The main objective is to improve the quality of images using fusion rules which are degraded by blurring. newline2.To design and implement a new/modified fusion algorithm. newline newlineTo obtain the above objective, proposed algorithm is designed in chapter no. 4. newlineTotal research is divided into six chapters. We addressed all the basic concepts of image fusion from the first chapter and concentrated mostly on fundamental terms in fusing the image at any point. newlineSecond chapter is all about the literature survey from other publication so we also mentioned the comparative table between the spatial domain and transform domain. newlineThird chapter gives the explanation of existing methodology including discrete wavelet transform, stationary wavelet transform, cross bilateral filter and non local mean filter. newlineIn fourth chapter, we described the efficient proposed methodology by using our another methods naming Bilateral based fusion in wavelet transform (BFWT), Weighted- variance based fusion in wavelet (WVFW), Edge Preservation based weighted fusion (EPWF) and NLM based image fusion in SWT (NLM-IF-SWT). newlineIn fifth chapter, we analyzed the comparative results on visual images and performed the proposed methodology from different performance metrics like Mean Square Error (MSE), Structural Content (SC) etc. newlineSixth chapter has the conclusion and scope for the future. Conclusion gives the solution of blurring problem and to overcome another features of image with respect of contrast and sharpness. newline
