Abstract: Power Quality issues have become a cause of critical concern for the consumer and utility side in recent year. Problems such as voltage swell, voltage sag, interruptions and harmonics may cause the end user equipment to malfunction. The conventional controller and topology suffer from uncertain parameters and non-linear qualities. Therefore, they are computationally inefficient for optimizing controller techniques. To improve and solve these problems, there is a need to effectively compensate strategy like Unified Power Quality Conditioner, Dynamic Voltage Restorer and Distributed Static Compensator. DVR has a fast dynamic response, is flexible and provides efficient solutions to power quality problems newline
