Abstract: Small and Medium- sized Enterprises are the backbone of the economic newlinegrowth of any nation while this sector is one of major factors contributing heavily newlineto Indian GDP. Although, in today s era, these small firms are facing many workrelated newlinedifficulties in their life such as high turnover, lack of skilled labor, etc. Some newlinerecent studies conducted over these small and medium size firms revealed the types of newlineproblems faced by these firms. In these studies, it is identified that majority of small newlinesize firms generally do not maintain a separate HR department at their workplace and newlineprimarily focused on the practices that are directly related to their production function newline
